" the kenji for shinobi 忍び the kenji for shinobi no mono 忍の者" but you are FORGETTING, that shinobi is a VERB it means 'to steal in' i however did use the wrong kanji before, seems my clipboard had issues. "忍の者" =shinobi no mono=ninja "also "no mono" is a modern term " HAHAHAHAHA 300+ years is Modern to you???
