Feb 15, 2012 - I do have some other parlays with Miocic at the top and I try to not put all my eggs in one basket. I'm quite confident in Ellenberger due to Diego's lack of knockout/submission prowess. He has good jiu jitsu but last time he submitted someone was in like 2004, and the dude's like 13-16. It's possible he pulls of a decision, especially with the crazy judging these days, but I wouldn't count on it. A small bet at +350 is not a bad idea, I would not single bet Ellenberger at -400

So even if I get burned on that one I should at least be close to breaking even. I'm quite confident in this pick though. Diego's only chance is to win a decision, and he's an inferior wrestler and striker, so I don't see that happening. He also has no KO power at all, and has NEVER subbed a UFC caliber fighter. I would pick E-Berg over anyone not named GSP at this point.

Feb 22, 2012 - naw i wasnt wrong on struve, the first round played our pretty close to how i said it would with herman being the aggressor and attacking, getting inside of Struve's range. If anything I was wrong on Herman he lacked the killer instinct to put him away, had he continued into the second round like he was fighting he most likely wins.

Herman was completely gassed in the second whereas struve was fresh. Even if struve is the less talented fighter once the gas tank hits empty the fighter loses the will to attack or defend and its over. Struves very talented and can take shots. Not a jds right hand. But from anyone else no problem.
