Ugh this is shit. :( I wanted to make it so so so much better! I really am hoping this is my year... It's my last year as a junior rider... So I hope to qualify for Canadian Nationals.. and I'm graduating high school.. There are some HUGE steps Reako and I have to take together.. We have to communicate better and focus on being slow and steady.. Its just hard because he's so new to this.. and most people take a few years to get good enough to qualify and we only have till june and my first show of the season isn't on him.. due to some conflict involving him.. :/ I'm so proud of the way he's come a long though... Who knew that we'd be in this place right now..? When I bought him, I had my expectations set way too high so of course with the trainer I had.. They came crashing down :( I took him home and he sat and got sour for a few months (something that was beyond my control) and then he moved to my current barn and just under a few months we were off.. We were ready.. I couldn't even believe it.. If only you guys could see him in real life.. He is a lot harder then you would think.. He likes to take control.. and pick fights.. A few weeks ago in my lesson a piece of dirt flew up in front of him while we were cantering and he leaped in the air and I pulled up and the martingale snapped... -_- and then he pulled a shoe after.... I'm just hoping we'll work out our problems and we'll be the best we can. I don't want to go to Nationals to get last place. I will go, and I will try to win. I'm trying to build an arena at home so I can start riding Ollie again.. He looks so bored out there... :/ I don't want his legs to start hurting riding on the path I've made... So Ive given him a huge break (: He deserved it! But now I think he's getting tired of not doing anything... I really really hope I can get an arena -_- (sorry I'm just bored.. ranting about absolutely random things lol) OH and please please PLEASE don't steal this audio :( you can make it yourself.. it's from a RedBull commercial... and DONT ask which one. -Karli&Ollie&Reako
